| Rick Wood is one of Aesir Group International’s Program Directors assigned to the Character and Leadership Division. Mr. Wood holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University. He is a certified Master Instructor for the United States Air Force’s program on Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE). He has extensive experience as well as many specialized rankings in Resistance and Escape Training. Mr. Wood is a retired Master Sergeant with 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. As a decorated career SERE Instructor, he taught global combat survival skills under the harshest of conditions to countless Air Force aircrew members, Department of Defense employees, and America’s allies. He served as an instructor, training NCO, supervisor, flight NCO, command level standardization/evaluation member, and Chief of many programs. He also created the first ever SERE Instructor Indoctrination Course, responsible for screening and selecting Airman for entry into the SERE career field. Mr. Wood concluded his military career by serving as Chief and course director Combat Survival Training (CST) at the United States Air Force Academy. Upon his retirement he was selected to be Chief of Training and Education (GS-11) for the United States Air Force Academy Center for Character Development. As the Program Director for their Respect and Responsibility Workshops he was responsible for the training of over 8,000 military personnel on character development, values, integrity, effective communication, diversity, leadership styles, team building, and mentoring. He is a certified high ropes facilitator, a certified mediator, a certified DiSC facilitator, and a graduate of Project Adventure’s advanced facilitator training. |
